Blossoms, blouses and…. wrap dresses.

Well I’m not sure what the weather’s like where you live, dear readers, but for the Cashmerettes it appears that Boston has gone full throttle into warm springtime. Hurray!

Hence, an outing:

Including the first public appearance of the rosy blouse… I can exclusively report that it did not disintegrate, fall apart or otherwise disgrace its wearer.
But there is no rest for crafters! So I ran home at a clip, and after a quick dose of yoga, whipped up two new wrap dresses. I recently realised that my ready-to-wear wrap dresses have a significantly simpler design than those I’ve made from patterns, so I did a bit of pattern modification and managed to streamline the whole thing down to a mere three pieces. As a result, I managed to put together two wrap dresses in 1.5 evenings.
First up, a jersey from Paris:

And then, a nice royal blue print from Emma One Sock’s amazing designer fabric remnant website. No idea who originally designed it, but thank you!

Getting ever closer to a fully me-made summer wardrobe. A few more maxi skirts and tops and I’m almost there!
