Upton Dress Party

(Clockwise from top left): Severine made two beautiful versions with a tan zebra print and a lovely green-toned drapey fabric. Jau made the sun come out with her summery dress! sew_what73 models her green Upton – and says it fits better than any RTW dress she’s ever owned.

Upton Dress Party

(Clockwise from top left): Jennifer made a version for an Easter party, a green silk shatung rendition, and then a green stripy one! KnitMo’s floral version is perfect for the summer frolicking in fields. Upton Dress Party (Clockwise from top left): Jessica made two Uptons – I can’t decide which one I like more! Morven made two lovely everyday Uptons and added on a loose sleeve.

Carolanne‘s got plenty of twirl potential in her gingham version!

Not only did Syreeta make this lovely red Upton, but she’s also the model on the pattern cover! Naomi’s the queen of the fit and flare dress, and made a wonderful blue linen number. Heather made two beautiful Uptons, from African wax print and shot silk taffeta.

Such beautiful makes! I need to get a move on with my upton dress(es)! 😀

  2. Marianne says:

Pretty! I just started taping the pattern 🙂

  3. Barb says:

Love the dress but would like it with sleeves.
    Any plans for sleeves?

    1. Carrie Sample says:

Yes, I was thinking the same thing….any way of giving Upton an “expansion pack” of a variety of sleeves?

  4. Carol W says:

The sweetheart neckline on Heather’s shot taffeta… (the very last photo). I’d love to know how she managed to shape it so nicely. That neckline style would be on my wishlist of “expansion pack” options, along with types of sleeves!

Let me know what you think!
