Well, I'll be the son of a cross eyed incontinent camel. I got the Lenox pattern to fit my 76 year old matronly body with only a couple of tweeks. I had to lower the bust a tad but your website has directions for that. And apparently, I don't have a sway back so I had to add a half inch in the back, pretty easy. I will add that I am only 5'2" and I liked the length of the top.

Lenox, perfect fit fit my curvy daughter

So far, since I started sewing 6 years ago I have been fitting fit myself with a less than curvy frame. But my lovely daughter has all the curves. So when I decided to try making her a dress cashmerette was the obvious starting point. We chose 3 patterns but I decided the lenox seemed smartest to try first. With a little help from the size chart I chose size 18 EF cup. Lo and behold, it fit her bust hips and waist like a dream.

I did some forward shoulder, wide upper back and short chest adjustments ( all familiar from my own fitting) and we had perfection.

Thanks cashmerette for saving me from learning all the curve adjustments and f giving my girl a dress she loves.

I just absolutely love how easy and enjoyable this pattern was. It just is nice to have a company that understands larger sized women still want to look pretty.

Love the fit as usual through the bust.
If you make a muslin be sure to sew on the buttons and buttonholes or at least pin the front closed accurately to get a good idea of the fit! I did have to alter the torso length at the front a bit for my shape. I made the size 20 G-cup in a rayon print.

I am full of excitement for this dress! I’ve made it up in linen, and it is one impressive pattern indeed. The neckline shaping is sleek, cup sizing is perfect, the waist is where it should be and it also has lots of room around the hips. I wore it out for a full day and it was very comfortable. I highly recommend it!
