    Retreat project

Join me for an incredibly fun and uplifting sewing weekend in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The focus of the weekend will be on fitting sewing patterns to your figure. Pick any Cashmerette Pattern to make – you’ll get a free pattern included in the retreat price – and I’ll help you make your garment with construction tips and fitting advice.

    Price includes:

    - 2 days of workshop teaching (10 – 5pm, with an hour for lunch) with Jenny Rushmore and her assistant.
    - Use of top-of-the-range Bernina sewing machines and sergers, and all the sewing tools you’ll need to make your garment (we’ll send you a list of what you need to bring).
    - A free Cashmerette Pattern, and free access to ALL our Cashmerette-branded Online Workshops (a value of over $300!).
    - There will be a casual dinner near our venue on Saturday night, if you'd like to join (not obligatory, not included in retreat price).

Traveling from out of town? No problem! When you sign up we’ll send you a list of accommodation recommendations across a range of prices. Inman Square is easy to reach, and is about 20 minutes drive from Boston Logan International Airport and Boston Back Bay Amtrak Station.

Here's what previous attendees have said about our retreats:

“That empowering feeling of accomplishment knowing that you have made a garment to specifically fit your body is, priceless. Thank you Cashmerette for making me appreciate my body shape.”

“The Cashmerette Retreat was a wonderful experience, one that I would repeat at every/any opportunity. I learned heaps, enjoyed the relaxed and hands on teaching. Everybody made something, we all had fun, Jenny Rushmore is a brilliant and inspirational teacher.”

“I came away with personalized, informed, fitting advice and a wonderfully body-positive experience, which translate into well-fitting, attractive garments! It was well worth the time, effort and money; I’d be back again in a heartbeat!”

      Prerequisites

      - You should fit into the sizing range of Cashmerette Patterns: size 12 – 28, cup sizes C – H (see the sizing chart here). If you’re between sizes, that’s no problem, but we won’t be able to grade patterns up or down for you
      - Not sure if it’s for you? Email us a hello@cashmerette.com and we can advise you personally.

        What should I bring?

        - We’ll email you all the details for what to bring and prepare before the retreat. You can bring your sewing machine if you’d like, just let us know in advance.

            Lovely time. Learned so much.

If you ever have the opportunity, take a Cashmerette retreat. Jenny and Carrie were wonderful, generous teachers, and I learned so much. Also, the other women that attended were each and everyone remarkable: smart, funny, kind , all with interesting lives and interests. I felt enriched and empowered just being around them. Really recommend.
