Goes together easily...looks GREAT!

Found the directions easy to follow and straightforward. After cutting the fabric, the pieces went together easily. It is well suited to a variety of fabrics. I made it out of wool blend as well as French Terry sweatshirt fabrics and looks great every time I wear it.

The Tobin Sweater

I made this lovely sweater twice (the first one was a wearable muslin made out of a lightweight knit fabric). The final version was made out of a gold colored waffle knit. I love both of them. I did not put either the cowl neck or turned over collar on either version. And for the gold one rather than use the facing pieces I did a banded neck finish that I'm really happy with. This is a relatively easy make and a very nice pattern.

Great Pattern does not disappoint

I have made 3 Tobins so far- a cowl neck “muslin” in a quilted knit, a stretch boiled wool and today’s finish- a black stretch velvet crew neck. Many more to follow
