Lovely pattern with a good fit. However found I struggled a bit with getting a neat finish on the zip, next time will try to complete the zip finish similar to my jeans patterns. Otherwise, great pattern.
What a great pattern! I really appreciated the careful drafting of this pattern and design details including the darts below the yoke to get a really good fit. I made the shorter view and will definitely revisit the other view one day (soon!).
This pattern has become my new favorite denim skirt. The instructions were wonderful and the fit perfect. I did have to alter the yoke and waistband, but they lay perfectly flat against my back. I prefer a longer skirt (32”) and one that is wider so I used this pattern as a base. It was very easy to use the slash and spread method to add width and the skirt turned out terrific. I love it!
I love this pattern SO MUCH!
All I had to do was choose my shape and size (pear, size 12) cut and sew!
The pattern fit me straight out of the envelope (OK straight off the A0 print) and the wonderfully presented clear instructions and illustrations made putting it together an absolute breeze.
I've become a very daring sewist since using Cashmerette patterns, in that I tend to chance sewing it up straight away in decent fabric instead of doing a toile first.
Risky, I know, but it’s worked for me so far...
