Quick, easy fitting top

The Avola pattern includes both a top and a dress. I made the top in satin finish cotton and it turned out very well.

What I especially like is the two piece back (nice shaping) and the high coverage provided on the sides of the bodice by the arms. There is no danger of gaping!

I lengthened the straps slightly and also lengthened the top by 3" for personal preference. The straps hide my bra straps quite well but I would definitely recommend testing the top with different bras when fitting the straps as different bras have different shapes in the back.

Another quick thing that I wish I had thought of before selecting my fabric is how well it will work as a lining. My fabric has a tiny bit of texture to it and it grabs onto undergarments. If I was to use a fabric with texture or nap again, I would use a different fabric for the lining.

The top went together very quickly! Definitely using this pattern again.

Lovely dress pattern

I have made the dress but not the top version. Everyone was saying the pattern came up small and I hate tight fitting clothes so I made it a size bigger. I ended up taking it in quite a bit at the seams as it was far too big even though I like loose clothing. Cashmerette patterns and measurements are fairly spot on so only minor adjustments are needed. I will definitely make this again for my summer wardrobe.

Another Great Club Pattern

My first make from this pattern was a slip to wear under dresses. I used a nylon tricot meant for swimwear. I used my normal size and found the fit to be great, for a more form fit one might try a size down if using a stretch fabric. I narrowed the skirt to be less swingy, made 2” facings instead of a fully lined bodice and shortened the hem by 2” for my slip. I will definitely make more slips, camisoles, and dresses from this easy to sew pattern. I really loved how I could adjust the strap position to cover my bra straps.

Fabulous pattern, never had such an easy PDF pattern as those from Cashmerette. So good to work with and easy to follow instructions.

Perfect camisole

I love this pattern. I’ve made two - one in silk and the other cotton lawn. It’s an incredibly flattering design and I’ve been wearing mine in constant rotation. I’m an H-cup and it’s the first time I’ve ever felt comfortable wearing a revealing top.

Excellent pattern per usual!

The Avola top is a dream come true for full figured body types that want a stylish cami type top for wearing on it's own or layered under jackets. And great coverage so no bra straps peeking out. Excellent fit as always... Cashmerette's size calculator on their site is so great!
