Love the back

When I saw this pattern, it was clear I would make it at one point since I can’t resist a nice back neckline. I was a bit unsure about the raglan sleeves though. Now I’ve made one for myself (and one for a friend) and I love it. It fits well and the raglan sleeves don’t make me look like an American footballer.
The pattern came together easily, as always with Cashmerette patterns.

Wow! Way off size

I originally joined the Club for the patterns. I have made the Waverly tunic and dress more than 10 times ( size 18 or 20 E/F or G/H) , and had no problem with the sizing. But this Kenwin t-shirt , wow was the sizing off! I made a size 20 G/H, grading out on the bust to size 24, and Grading out below the bust to size 26 so I could have a more flared skirt. This did not fit. This was way too tiny, in fact more than 4" across the front too small. When I compared the two patterns--the Waverly and theKenwin--Ifound the Waverly size 18 was more like a Kenwin size 28. I don't know and cannot explain why there was such a great size difference between these two t-shirts. I rechecked my printing; everything was correct in the printing. I didn't miss any pages, but the sizing was way off. I'll return to making my Waverly shirts, but I'm very disappointed that the sizing was so incredibly different between these two.

Easy sew

This is a quick and easy sew. I love how it turned out and the neckline on the back is a real eye-catcher. Thank you Cashmerette for another very successful pattern!

Kenwin

I used up a piece of Jersey that I hadn't known what to do with and made what has become my favourite top, quick easy and a very good fit first.

Perfect fit

I made the Kenwin tee for my daughter. I made a straight size 14 according to the size chart and it fits perfectly. She actually likes it better with the cross over in the front. I put a small stitch under the binding only because she has small children and they might pull on the blouse.

Can't decide

I made the cross back Kenwin shirt and really love it. I can wear it both frontways or backways. I tend to like the crossover in front but I mix it up. I went together easily and I sewed it all on my serger.
