Dartmouth top

I have made the top several times for my daughter with plans to make several more. She is nursing her wee baby and it is perfect for this need. Thank you for the great sizing options because there is not much out there for buxom bodies.
You have helped me tremendously with my sewing skills and renewed the joy of creating something that fits!

Looks so professional and fit is perfect!

No one (even my sewing friends) could believe I made the shirt myself! I did the ruched sides and while it was a little fiddly putting in the elastic, the finished look was totally worth it! The neckband adds the perfect professional touch. The first attempt fit me perfectly without alterations, although I used a very stretchy jersey. I can't wait to make another one!

Amazing, flattering top!

This is THE most flattering pattern I have ever sewn. I just finished my first one and am already planning more. The instructions were easy to follow and the pattern went together like a dream. My only caution is to check the sleeve lengths before cutting. I have long arms and what should have been a 3/4 sleeve stopped at my elbow. I'm looking forward to making more of this top and using hacking it into a dress.

Great Pattern, I wish the size chart had more info

I really like the way this top turned out, but I feel love could have easily been achieved if I had more information about the sizing before printing and cutting the pattern, such as an underbust or overbust size. This is especially important as a pdf user, as there are three different versions to print based on cup size. Based on measurements, I made myself a 16EF graded to a 14 through the hips for view A. The result was not quite how it was pictured, as it was quite roomy in the underbust area, which takes away from the accentuation of the curves on the side line. It was also just a smidge roomy in the back and arms. I would be better off to make a 14GH I think, but as a print shop user, that now entails the expense of having an entirely different pdf printed. But I don't want to leave a totally negative review, the top is still quite wearable, and is an excellent starting point to achieve the kind of top I want. The instructions are well written, and I was able to learn new skills from following them carefully. I just think for this kind of style, an additional metric might be a great help.

Amazing fit, easily put together

This was my first Cashmerette pattern, and I adore the way it came out. I've always known wrap shirts and dresses were a good look for me, so I decided on Dartmouth in order to see how I liked her patterns. The pattern came together easily and fit perfectly with minimal adjustments. I'm so glad I took the leap! (As a bonus, it is perfect for nursing or pumping, and could even be used with a double electric pump.)
