For extra comfort, both views have an elasticated back waist, and for all-round usability, there are pockets too! Whether made up in a floaty rayon challis or sumptuous linen, the Holyoke will keep you looking cool and feeling relaxed throughout the warmer weather.

This Cashmerette pattern includes:

Holyoke Dress

I have made this a couple of times now and find i get lots of compliments whenever i wear it! I very flattering pattern especially for those with a mum tum, some struggle with the construction, it felt alien to completely build the front and then the back rather than the top and then bottom but it works and I am really pleased with it. I will be making more.

Two truths and a lie.

Great design, easy make. I have a very, very happy 6 foot customer with a maxi dress that fits perfectly and makes her feel beautiful. No pattern walks on water; make a toile first to tweak fit. Note to serger warriors: On the button placket and waist facings, instead of folding 1/4 inch under and hand stitching, serge 1/4 inch off, iron those babies down and top stitch for less bulk.

Fantastic Summer Dress!

I don't think I've ever had a dress fit as well as this one and with only a few tiny tweaks! It's drafted perfectly so it goes together beautifully and is so floaty and light but with full bust coverage. I made the 14 G/H and it fits true to size. Love it!!

Gorgeous Pattern

This is my first Cashmerette Pattern. I am excited to make it. Printed it twice as I didn’t know what I was doing!! Now to stick it together. I am old school and used to the tissue patterns. I will learn. Onward and upwards.
