This is such a great pattern. Simple, but with enough detailing to make it special. I have already made three in woven and I’m not done yet. Good sizing as well!
Great pattern - an easy and quick sew and so comfy to wear. I used a fairly stable lightweight cotton and made the view without the hem ties and left off the hem facing as I made it longer. Otherwise it fitted straight from the packet. I plan more in woven as well as other knits. Look like a good basic pattern for hacking as well - eager to try with long sleeves. thank you Cashmerette for releasing this as a printed pattern.
After seeing that this top could be made with woven fabric, I thought I’d give it a go. I’ll admit I was swayed by the facings being included, rather than using bias binding.
I measured myself and worked off the finished pattern measurements for bust size to get exactly what I wanted. My full bust is in the C/D range but I went with G/H (trusting in the pattern).
That’s the biggest thing I can say about Cashmerette pattens - you can trust them.
Two hours from cut to finish (including coffee), too easy. I can see this pattern will also be pretty hackable too. Thanks again Jenny and team!
