This time I've made the sweatshirt version in two different fabrics, both remnants.
The neckline is a lovely curved sideways oval and is much more comfortable than a full boatneck. It frames your face and the shape is emphasised with topstitching. Just gorgeous.
I wore this top for work this morning and got lots of compliments. This is a super pattern and the instructions for each version are good.
Pattern was easy and I intend to make more.
I love cashmerette patterns as I don’t have to do busy adjustments and the patterns always seem to fit so well. I love the shape of the neck in the folded neck version I made. I love how the pattern pieces were made so you colour block without having to cut the pattern pieces too!
This is another great pattern from Cashmerette. I've now made the cowl neck, high/low version 3 times! I've used a stable knit as well as a more drapey one and both look great! The top works for casual lounging as well as (smart/casual) work, depending on fabric. The fit was perfect and instructions were clear, as usual!
I made my first tobin as an xmas gift for my MIL. I took her measurements and just trusted the pattern.... what magic it is! It fit brilliantly and was truly a joy to sew. The split neck looks so elegant as was easy to execute. I am looking forward to making many, many more for myself. Another winning pattern. Thanks cashmerette!
