My daughter needed a nice maternity top and this was perfect. Most pregnant girls can go the entire pregnancy never wearing actual maternity tops. Not really so for plus size ladies who might want to be slightly more modest, and already have a tough time finding flattering retail garments that don’t break the bank. I made the 32 E-H. The shoulders were not halfway down her arms, even on this large size. The neck was a tiny bit wide, but that would be extremely easy to fix. Yay! Speaking of arms, she has larger biceps, which is why I went with the larger size. I could have made the top itself smaller but always better to be larger than too small. She wore it yesterday to an event, several weeks further into her pregnancy than when I made it, and I was so happy to see how flattering it was on her! She’ll be able to wear it till the end and beyond. So well drafted! Thanks Jenny, for saving us! Plus size maternity is out there in retail, but unlike normal garment sewing, you WILL SAVE lots of money making your own!
