Fairly easy to put together

Easy to follow directions. Wish it had more options like a more flared skirt or suggestions on color blocking or finishing

Best dress in the collection!

This is a fantastic dress to sew and to wear!!!
It’s comfortable and can be incorporated in casual as well as smart ware. It’s a particularly well designed wrap dress, that doesn’t gape at the cleavage.

Appleton Dress

I have made four of these dresses and have had many compliments on them. The fit is excellent- very flattering.
The instructions, both written and diagrammatic, were very easy to follow. I made mine using my overlocker- this is by far the quickest method. The only issue I had was with the opening for the tie- I struggled to make it neat. I hand sewed it in the end. I would recommend this pattern to anyone, even a beginner.

It was worth it!

So, by nature I have limits on what I will spend on patterns for myself. I have been looking at the Appleton for over a year. I have read the reveiws, looked at the makes and talked myself out of it for various reasons. Well, in December I bought myself the Appleton as a present and I am happy I did! It covers, flows and flatters. Could I ask for more?
