Super Appleton Happy

This pattern is nicely drafted, and the instructions and sew along make it super easy to construct, but what I appreciate MOST is the personal reply I got with advice about which sizing to choose for my measurements. I would have NEVER figured out what was suggested, and the advice I got was perfect. It was so satisfying to make up a pattern and have it fit for once. I have made 1 dress so far out of a silk jersey--it was meant to be a mockup because the pattern of the fabric is strange (it was inexpensive for silk jersey), but it looks nice so maybe I will wear it for reals. I am now planning to make a Christmas dress next with this pattern and some stretch velvet. Have seen this pairing of Appleton and fabric on several blogs so I am looking forward to making my next dress.

Great Wrap Dress

This is my first Casherette pattern. After advice from Jenny about what size to make the dress went together beautifully. I did lengthen it by about two inches. I have had many wears out of it so far. Will be a repeat make for me. Thank you Jenny for the advice.

Great pattern!

I love this pattern. As a beginner I had no problem with it: I made a summer and a winter version with diferent longs and colour combinations. I love the design and how it fits!! For me it is a favourite. Thank you!

Always fits

I can’t believe I haven’t made this before. I had to do my usual added 2” of length in the torso as higher waistline location isn’t as flattering for me as everyone else. Once that was done, I’m a solid 10G with no other modifications. I’ve always made a 12 in Cashmerette but the online calculator was spot on. I can see making many more of these.

Love this pattern - i like the fact that i can grade between sizes and allow for my fuller bust without too much effort.
