Stay cool without showing your bra to the world with the Saybrook Tank! Designed for bigger boobs with cup sizes from C-H, the Saybrook Tank looks delicate but fully covers your bra straps, even at the armscye, so you can concentrate on your day rather than adjusting your top.

Choose from a high scoop neck tank with a high back and a stylish knotted hem, a low scoop neck cami with a low back and straight hem, or a cropped tank. Great for those warmer temps or for layering under sheer garments, you’ll wonder how you ever got dressed without the Saybrook!

This Cashmerette pattern includes:

  • Cup sizes from C to H
  • A sizing calculator which will tell you exactly which size to make
  • A beautifully illustrated and detailed instruction booklet, to guide you no matter your sewing level

Wonderful pattern

I hesitated a lot about buying this pattern because I have a bazillion tank patterns already. I'm so glad I tried this pattern though! It's just perfect. It's the tank I'd go buy in all the colours if it were in a shop. The only thing I do differently are the armhole bindings but that's just because I prefer a different technique than the one in the instructions

A tank-top that actually does what I need it to!

I have made two Saybrook tanks already. I spend a lot of time outdoors and canoe tripping which means that I’m always bending down and picking up. I wanted a tank top that gave me space to move but also kept all my bits covered and the saybrook delivered! Thank you Jenny and the Cashmerette team for this awesome pattern!

Saybrook tank

This is a nice tank pattern. My one quibble is the armhole at the underarms. I'm 5'7 and find the underarms waaay too high. They could easily be lowered an inch and still cover my bra band

Saybrook Tank

What an awesome pattern! Goes together quickly and so versatile! I have made one with a cotton spandex and I love it. I did a quick FBA and was good to go. The fit is a curve hugging so if you prefer a looser fit you will need to size up.

Constant complements!

I have a very physical job (lots of bending, stretching, lifting). In the summer tank tops are a must to keep cool, but I could never find any that fit right. I made several Saybrook tanks, customizing them with the higher neck in front (so I can bend over without showing everything!) and the lower neckline in back, lowered the bust curve, and I added about 3" to the length. they fit perfectly, sew up so quickly and easily! And an unexpected bonus-- all my coworkers keep telling me how great they look!

Great tank pattern!!

I’ve always struggled to find tank tops that fit and don’t cling in all the wrong places. Enter the Saybrook! A fast sew with a super easy and elegant binding, and it fits! My first one was wearable right off the table (go with the pattern measurements to pick a size, not your bra/dress size). The only adjustment I made to future tanks was to extend the strap very slightly as I found the edge of my strap was visible sometimes (I have sloped shoulders). I hacked it into a dress (using the cashmerette Pembroke pattern) and I’ve been wearing them nonstop all summer.
