Upton Dress & Skirt Plus Mix & Match Expansion Pack
I am an adult advisor for a Masonic youth group, and we have a reception coming up.
I purchased this pattern again (I own this pattern in the larger sizes), but I needed to make dresses for several girls, so I purchased both the size ranges as the girls are different sizes
This is hands down my favorite pattern, and it goes together so easily. I alter the skirt so it's basically three panels of 58" wide fabric, so it will fit a hoop under
It looks gorgeous, and really elegant!
I am making a tulle overskirt with a bow in the back.
I have used this pattern over and over, as I just love it!
I was disappointed with this pattern, it was my first cashmerette and I picked it based on its curvy friendly appeal and the idea of not having to do a bust adjustment. I made a mock up and found it was taking so many alterations to make it fit that I discarded it and drafted a pattern from scratch instead. I wouldn’t have left a review because I know so many people like these patterns but they kept emailing me to leave one so here we are. Since I live in Canada it was a very expensive disappointment.
Hi Jennifer! I'm sorry to hear you didn't get a great fit straight out of the packet - we'd be happy to help you pick the right size and figure out any alterations - just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
As someone very new to sewing (receiving my first sewing machine in May of 2022) found this pattern pretty easy to understand. Though I have only made the two skirt patterns, I am too timid to attempt any of the bodice patterns as yet, it was not as intimidating as I thought it would be. I did struggle a bit with how the waistband was put together and how it attached to the skirt. I manged to get it right the first time, but somehow I attached it upside-down? on the second try. Well, for anyone with more sewing experience then I possess, I am sure they will breeze through this pattern. Well, I can only speak for the skirt portion of it anyway. Still, all in all a great pattern and I intend to make every combination possible.
5 years ago I bought a beautiful fabric for a summer dress and couldn’t find the right pattern. Voila, here it is, and so much more. I made two summer dresses, and the fabric for my next autumn dress is sitting in my stash. The bust fits perfectly. It is such a joy not to make a fba!!!. And the rest fits perfectly aswell, even the length goes to the perfect part just below the knees. I´m really happy about this pattern. And I will make much more!
